IOC - Agreed. Yes, the football in the main under BFS was fucking shite, but to say that you 'utterly respect' a West Ham fan going along towatch West Ham (regardless of the manager) is really trying too hard to make a point.

Eh?? What was I meant to say then?? You were all mugs?? Not gonna win am I ??

Re: Seems more Sunderland fans are seeing through Fatty
Because he was an arrogant fucking cunt who showed on numerous occasions he couldn't care less about the fans or the clubs traditions and who when in the knowledge that he wouldn't get his contract extended deliberately went about sabotaging our season?

Re: Seems more Sunderland fans are seeing through Fatty
This may have had some relevance had Sam Allardyce not done a job for West Ham, he did exactly what was asked of him Promotion and two seasons in the top flight why does this hate carry on ?

Someone told me the other day that he's said if he gets to a position where he feels he can't keep them up, he will walk.

I read that as well. Despicable bastard
That is so he can keep 'being relegated' off of his CV

Allardyce got us up and kept us up - and now some people need to shut the fuck up.

It's boring. If you need to be angry look at Roeder or Grant.

Re: Seems more Sunderland fans are seeing through Fatty
We were 4 points clear at the end of January with a game in hand. We had strengthened in the January window, with allardyce bringing his 5th striker of his tenure in, so if carlton Cole was playing there's only one person at fault. We then went 7 games without a win at home, our worst run since Roeder who at least achieved the feat in the top division.

Ultimately, he got us up so it doesn't really matter, but we absolutely blew it, no question. That said, the fact that we were in that position in January speaks volumes for how well he did when he first came in - probably his best time at the club, for me - but just like the rest of his career, when it came to actually winning something, he came up shortp

I've got a few Millwall supporting friends and they said at the time that they would rather us get promoted automatically than go up the way we did with a day out at Wembley.

With hindsight, I completely agree.

Coming up through the play offs is better anyway.

There's no doubt Allardyce should have won it though. Anyway, he's gone, were better off and he's getting relegated. There's enough to be smug about at the moment.

I hope that isn't true, considering how many emphatically the word fact (FACT) was used.
